This beautiful charcuterie board was milled from a locally sourced naturally fallen cherry tree here in Cranford. The slabs were seasoned for over a year to reach a moisture content to eliminate worry of warping and cracks. This piece is 11 inches by 12 inches and close to an inch in thickness. It features a blue epoxy resin which mimics flowing blue water, which is why it is traditionally refered to as a River Board. One one side is an inlayed removable bowl for dips or spreads. The Bowl is Cherry, as well, and measures 1.75 tall and is 4 inches in diameter. The opposite side has a routed groove comonly found on most cutting boards as a blood groove. I do want to note that this is techinically a charcuterie type board due to the orientation of the woods grain (meaning it is likely to wear and show knife marks).

Odie's Oil -
Food Safe, Solvent Free, non-toxic oil. Odie’s Oil uses the finest oils and waxes produced by nature to protect the wood surfaces. These oils and waxes evolved in nature to protect plants from the constant bombardment of the elements, insects, fungi and other bio-organisms. The oils and waxes in Odie’s Oil are at home in wood because wood is where they originally evolved.
The epoxy resin is also food grade and is tinted with Ocean Blue and touch of mother of pearl white non-toxic powders.
